I use a variety of methods and resources in my teaching. Lessons are individually tailored to suit the needs of the each student. I use Faber Piano Adventures, Alfreds, and Royal Conservatory of  Music as the main lesson books.

Additionally, I like to  use a  wide variety of supplemental material. Favourites in the studio are Jazzabilities and Christopher Nortons Connections for those who are interested in a more modern sound while still learning traditional piano skills.

The Soft Mozart computer program increases skill at sight reading. All students are involved in the study of theory and how it corresponds to the pieces they are currently learning. Composition and improvisation, as well as ensemble playing are part of the curriculum.
